TP-Link AC1750 Smart Router Review
TP-Link AC1750 Wireless Router based on wire cutters recommendations this has an AC router AC antenna. This is comparable to a lot of the expensive routers. It has a one of the main things that, it has the AC antenna which has really good range. It goes off as all AC, this is what the antennas does and it has a CNGP and has one 3.0 port it also has 2.0 port.
An app tether app available at Google Play Store and the App Store so let’s see what else we got in here it’s pretty straightforward just like any router and so it looks like it has these little three antennas need to connect. It has a switch to turn wireless on or off it’s pretty good control to have and also the on and off button to actually turn it off and turn on the router so that’s kind of a nice little touch.
There are four ports at back and there’s the internet port at back as well, then there’s a USB A and one of these is 3.0 USB. The AC 1750 download speed is significantly faster where you were get less than 10 it will give you 10+ for sure.
TP-Link A7 Speed Test
This is a dual band router it has the 2.5 gigahertz which is gonna give you up to 450 megabits per second and the 5 gigahertz one which is all the way up to 1300 megabits per second and that’s insane. This is the router itself it’s made out of plastic let’s take this off it looks nice definitely looks better than the flyest one I has manuals that tells how to set up your password the adapter and then the internet cable and the router itself looks pretty nice too it’s very elite in my opinion on the back.
So we got all of the ports right here there’s even a USB port there’s the power and adapter port and there are Ethernet cables ports. It has four Ethernet ports and then one’s for the internet. Here’s a quick comparison with the old router and the new router they’re pretty much the same size the two connected you have to first turn off your modem or wherever the internet is coming from have the router connected and you also need to connect the router have a hardware connection to your PC or your laptop (upstairs) before you do all this you don’t have this connected to your internet port turn off your modem first at downstairs, unplug this and take off it’s batteries now go back upstairs and then connect the cable to the other the PC.
After you’ve done that go ahead and plug it into the internet port next you have to go downstairs again and then turn on the modem all right there we go blinking with power after this after you plug it in wait for about two minutes so system is up and running. Now turn it back on again about five minutes later. After you do all of that and your router is still not connecting all you have to do is go to this tp-link login net and then just follow the steps there then your internet will start working once you finished up setting up the router let’s do the test again. It will surely get 99 megabits per second at basement and 125 upstairs that’s awesome. It is definitely recommend to anybody that wants to upgrade their older router for $56 this is worth buying.
