Previously, one of the tech giants, AMD has launched its third-gen Zen 2- based Ryzen Processors. At the time of launch, Advanced Micro Devices(AMD) has also introduced the next generation PCIe 4.0 controllers. According to the report, these controls have shown some fantastic speed potential for various new tech devices.
The AORUS NVMe Gen4 SSD has the ability to read data at 5,000MB/s speed and it is capable of writing a 4,400 MB/s speed. It shows that it has a great performance as compared to other SSDs in the market. The AORUS NVMe Gen4 SSD is almost 56 percent faster than the write and read speed of a Samsung 970 EVO.
Apparently, the 970 EVO of Samsung is known as the fastest NVMe SSDs available in the market. At this time, Gigabyte is not the only company that has launched a PCI 4.0 SSD. Corsair has also launched its MP6– NVMe SSD, which depicts a quite similar performance.

The similarity between both products is that both of the products are featuring the Phison P5016-E16 controller and 3D TLC (Triple Level Cell) NAND flash memory chips. Both of these chips are powered by Toshiba, in the case of AORUS. The AURUS NVMe Gen4 SSD consists of a full body copper heat spreader.
Which indicates that things might get hot when it is utilized at top speed. However, Gigabytes proclaims that the heatsink has the ability to reduce temperature up to 14 percent. The device comes in two variants, one with 1 TB size and the other one features 2TB storage.
If you want to enjoy the fast speed at its extent, then experts suggest buying the X570 motherboard of Gigabyte as well as the new Ryzen processors. Later in July, the AORUS SSD along with motherboard and Ryzen chips will be available in the market. Apparently, we do not have any clue about its price tag. But, we should expect that it will fall into one of the most expensive NVMe SSDs in the market.
